An NYPD ESU detective was shot in the leg during a Brooklyn standoff with an armed man who allegedly fired 20 rounds before being fatally struck.

A cop was shot in the leg inside a Brooklyn apartment building on Friday, police sources said. The incident occurred on Kosciuszko St. near Marcy Ave. in Bedford-Stuyvesant at about 6:30 a.m.
